63 drivers took part in the opening round, with new signing Teddy Wilson, the MSA British Champion in IAME Cadet joining the Forza for this campaign. Wilson alongside Maini hit the ground running with quick benchmark pace in testing, with Maini topping FP3, and Wilson consistently in the Top 5 in his sessions.
Qualifying came, Wilson qualified 2nd in his group with Maini 5th in his. The classification left them 6th and 13th overall respectively, lining them up in P3 and P6 for the qualifying heats. The Grand Final maintained the same rapid pace throughout, as both Forza drivers broke away into the leading 5 as both lay in P3 and P4 for the opening laps. As the pack closed up in the business end of the race, the train of 5 became a train of 10 karts all fighting for position.

Wilson was declared ok after the accident and is ready to fight again at the next round after showing great pace for his debut with the team.

Despite the setbacks from the final, many positives can be taken from the opening CIK-
