The WSK Final Cuo is the final major championship of the European Karting Season. The event took place in Italy, at the Adria circuit where 62 competitors took part in the one-off, winner takes all event.

Forza’s latest signing, young Danish racer Frederik Vesti made his debut at the WSK Final Cup in KF-Junior at the Adria Circuit in Italy. The new signing immediatley hit the ground running with a set of great results through qualifying and his heats, to line up P2 on the grid for the Pre-Final, which he went on to take the victory in, giving him pole position for the Grand Final.

Young German Niki Kruetten saved his best lap of qualifying right up to the death! Giving himself some solid starting positions for his heats all inside the top 10. Mikkel Hoyer showed great pace and determination to come through well in his heats to achieve solid positions at the flag.

In the Grand Final of the WSK Final Cup, Vesti showed great pace to turn the tables on race leader Nicola Abrusci. After being dropped to 4th position on the 3rd lap, Vesti got his head down to reel in all the leaders, overhauling into first position on lap 12, which he then held on until the flag.

Hoyer made the Grand Final after again coming through well in the Pre-Final. In the super competitve grid, Hoyer managed to come home in P24.

Kruetten was the victim of misfortune after being taken off in the Pre-Final at the end of the opening lap, ruining his great showing of the weekend where he deserved much better.

Vesti completed Forza Racing’s 2nd success in the WSK Final Cup, following up Robert Shwartzmans victory in 2013.

Team owner Jamie Croxford managed to summarise the weekend post race.
“Frederik Vesti (Fan Gruppe) having an amazing debut with us, starting P2 tomorrow for the Prefinal...Niki saving his best qualifying until last, started all his heats inside top 10 grid slot. And Mikkel showing amazing pace to come through really well in all his heats!”

Recapping on the 2015 season, “It's been a tough year...but this makes it allll worth it!!

Thanks to everyone that has been there through thick and thin, you know who you are!! See you all next year!!!” Said a delighted team owner Jamie Croxford after the team took its second WSK Final Cup honour in three years.
